How to embed video

Ok those are all tutorials on how to embed youtube videos its pretty easy.  Essentially yoou find the video you want.  Then copy the code used for embedding the video, its usually somewhere on the page easily obtainable.  Once you have the code when you have dreamweaver open, go to the split view.  Click on the page view where you want the video to go.  This will auto adjust which line is selected in the code view.  Then go to the code view and paste.  That should be it, a gray box will appear on your page.  You cant view the video when its in an edit mode so you have to click the preview in firefox button to make sure the link works.

Project for color theory

project i did for color theory.  Its done but i want to go back and rework it a bit so the depth isnt so cut out with all the red at the top of the wave, otherwise i really dig it.  took a different color scheme to the great wave off kanagawa.

Assignment 3

What is the difference between using digital technologies as a tool versus as a medium?  Nothin i suppose.  Although it depends on the outcome of the project you are working on.  If you have the intention to make something creative and artistic then your using the digital technologie as a medium and a tool, rather then just one or the other.

This question can calso have the what came first the chicken or the egg.  If the artwork is of a digital medium was it used as a tool?  And vice versa.  The questions answer is all in the beholder.  If I make a piece of art out of paintburshes rather then with paint brushes is the end result just a mess, or is it art?  Tools are essential in creating anything, and can come in any form.  In the digital realm the idea of tools is a bit more clear then in conventional art and abstract art.  But it doesnt mean that it cant go both ways.

project 2

I had alot of fun with this project.  Was nice to take the time and learn some interesting tools with photoshop i had not known before.
